Fine cover with silver embossed coat of arms and title on red leather-covered card covers (no dust jacket, as issued), slightly rubbed at top and bottom of spine. Silver page ends. Marbled endpapers in good condition.
First and last pages considerably foxed, otherwise relatively clean, though paper discoloured with age.

With beautiful full page black and white official portrait photos of each of the King George V and Queen Mary, the King's address to the Empire on Christmas day 1934, and a coloured image for each British Empire nation, accompanied by summaries of each country, to celebrate "The most remarkable feature of the King's reign has been the consolidation of the British Empire in political terms.."
