Original wood engraving after a sketch by topographical artist William Fitler (1857-1915) for Picturesque Atlas of Australasia published in Sydney circa 1886.
This engraving has later colour which certainly adds to its appeal. Clipped from within a page of text, the engraving has been mounted between 'antique white' ragmat, ready for framing, and is covered with cellophane for protection.
ize of engraving is 9 x 12cm (3.5 x 5 inches). External mount size for frame window is approx. 24 x 28cm (9.5 x 11 inches).
