Redcliffe Church and Basin, Bristol. Bartlett engraving. Finden circa 1842.

Wonderful original coastal engraving by E. Benjamin, from a drawing on the spot by William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854), for "The Ports, Harbours, Watering-Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain", illustrated by W.H. Bartlett, for William Finden (1787-1852) and Edward Finden (1791-1857). London: Published for the Proprietors by George Virtue circa 1842. Bartlett was one of the foremost illustrators of topography of his generation. This lovely engraving has later fine hand-colour.
