Original lithograph printed in colour by Friedrich Hottenroth (1840-1917) for Costumes, House, Field and Military Equipment printed by M. Seeger, and published in Stuttgart between 1883 and 1886 by G. Weise.

F. Hottenroth was an artist and historian who captured beautifully the colour and grandeur of Fashion through the ages. This is a wonderful lithographic record of French Fashion in the 13th century.

Slight soiling along page edges. Page size is 280 x 215mm (11 x 8 1/2 inches). To border of image measures 24 x 27cm (9 3/8 x 6 5/8 inches).
