Rare 18th century antique print of commemorative medallions.
Original stipple and line copperplate engraving by Étienne Louis Crepy (c.1700-1759) of beautiful medallions with head and obverse illustrated. Published in Paris by Tissot circa 1775.
The addition of a striking black gouache background and fine hand-colour to the coins certainly adds to their appeal.
Size to intaglio impression is 195 x 160mm (7.75 x 6.25 inches). Page size is 305 x 210mm (12 x 8.25 inches).
