Superb lithograph of Chateau de Brissac, Canton de Thouarcé.
East Façade, reconstructed around 1605 by René de Cossé, descendant of the first Duc de Brissac who acquired Chateau Brissac in 1502. One of the finest illustrations of a beautiful French chateau, this original lithograph was drawn and printed in two tones circa 1861 by Victor Petit (1820-1874) for “Chateaux de la Vallée de la Loire” (Chateaux of the Loire Valley).
