This road map is an original copperplate engraving by John Ogilby and John Senex, published by J. Bowles & Sons of London for the pocket edition of 'The Roads through England Delineated, or Ogilby’s Survey, Revised, Improved & Reduced to a Size Portable for the Pocket'.

It’s a very decorative and informative little map.  These maps were actually used to travel the roads of England. There is another strip map on the reverse side: Part of the Road from London to Portsmouth in Hampshire, - so you get two for the price of one..
Approximate size of this map is 17 x 22cm (6 x 8.5 inches).
