Spectacular antique map of Australian mineral wealth c1888.

Mineral deposits and distribution as compiled by the geological map of the Mining Department, Melbourne, with revisions by NSW Government Geologist, C.S. Wilkinson F.G.S. (Fellow of the Geological Society of London), by The Picturesque Publishing Company Co. ( Ltd.) Sydney and Melbourne. This is an important and interesting map of the geology distribution within Australia.

Double-page map with central vertical fold, measures 43 x 65mm (17 x 25 1/2 inches).
As well as foxing, there is damage at central vertical fold and small external edge tears from much handling. (Picture is of map in good condition. Please email for pic of actual map.)
