Antique print of climbing Hochstetter Dome in New Zealand's South Island c1888.

Original wood engraving (with later fine hand-colour), for Picturesque Atlas of Australasia which was published to commemorate one hundred years of European settlement and development in Australia and the surrounding regions.

This engraving has been mounted in antique white acid-free conservation boards, ready for framing, and cellophaned for protection. The print is in good condition. Distortion of this image is caused by the scanner.

Size of image is 11.5 x 7.5 inches or 29 x 19cm. External mounted size is 16.5 x 12.5 inches or 42 x 32cm.
