The Head of A New Zealander, with a Comb in his Hair and an ornament of Green Stone in his Ear, and another of Fish's Tooth round his Neck, &c. 

Original copperplate engraving circa 1790 (with later hand-colour). Publish'd as the Act directs by Alexander Hogg at Kings Arms, No. 16, Paternoster Row, for the pocket edition of An Account of the Voyages of Captain Cook.

Page measures 130 x 210mm (5 1/8 x 8 1/4 inches). This wonderful engraving is mounted with 'antique white' conservation ragmat and covered with cellophane to protect until framed.
