This is an interesting antique map c1880 published in London by J.S. Virtue & Co. Limited. With Port Said on the Mediterranean Sea at centre top and the Red Sea at the base, Wilderness of the Wanderings are indicated between them. This map stretches from the Libyan desert in the west to Arabia in the east, and shows geographical features in brown and all wording in black.

The page size measure 315 x 470mm (12.5 x 18.5 inches) with central vertical fold to accommodate publication in a book half the size. To the border measures 255 x 413mm (10 x 4.25 inches). There is slight gathering along the central fold with small repairs at top and base. Otherwise this antique map is in good condition with wide margins, as published.
