Baron Reis d'Eisenberg was a renowned horseman, and riding master to the Court of the Hapsburgs. He was an amateur artist who wrote and illustrated the work with fifty-five illustrations of school movements, - commissioned by the Tenth Earl of Pembroke. The original drawings now hang at Wilton House, England.
