Corinthian Architecture, Column Capital Heritage Editions reproduction print.
by Basire, James
Temple of the Winds, Corinthian Architectural Entablature, Capital and Cross-section.
Reproduction printed from a copperplate-engraving by James Basire of classical ancient architecture. Originally published in London c.1770. This is fine print on thick paper with a grey background. It looks great in a group of three with the Ionic Column and the Corinthian Column Capital - and also with Piranesi grand Vases or Urns (listed previously in Heritage Editions, Classic Design Artwork.
(This print of traditional early architecture is also available printed on a cream background - as above - which would look good with a selection from the finely delineated architectural studies in the Architecture/Landscaping section of Decorator Art on antiqueprintclub.com website.)
Paper size 49 x 32cm (19.25 x 12.5 inches).
