Reproduced from an engraving after the painting c1795 by George Morland. A busy rural village scene, with a donkey race and excited people with horse-drawn carts, on horse-back, and perched high for better views.

This action scene was published for a series of perspective views representing Coaching Days of England, containing whatever was most remarkable for Grandeur, Elegance and Curiosity in the time of the Coaches of England, comprehending the years 1750 until 1850. Printed for Paul Elek in All Saints Street, Islington, in 1966.

Vintage coaching print with slight age-discolouration/foxing and a tear at lower left edge, outside the border of the image. Page measures 51 x 38cm (20 x 15 inches). The untitled image to its border measures 330 x 415mm (13 x 16 3/8 inches).
