by Barbier, George

Framed reproduction print from a hand-coloured pochoir of 1920s fashion by George Barbier for Gazette du Bon Ton (Journal of Good Style), an exclusive French periodical from 1912 to 1925.
Originally published in Paris by Lucien Vogel to illustrate the latest fashions from the premier designers, these wonderful illustrations of fashion are shown in appropriate settings, and have always been popular.

We only have this one modern print from this series, but if you are interested in them, you will find a wonderful selection of the original hand-coloured pochoirs (French stencils) on our main website www.antiqueprintclub.com.

We have framed this one in a pretty gold frame whose profile complements the shape of the furniture, and whose green line along its edge is complemented by the coloured undermount. External frame measurement is 34 x 29 cm (13.5. x 11.5 inches).
