This wonderful reproduction map is a double hemisphere projection that was published in Amsterdam in 1641 by Matthaus Merian. This decorative map shows California as an Island, and the great southern land mass which includes Australia and New Zealand as 'Terra Australia Incognita'” (Unknown Southern Land).

The size of the map image is 22 x 31cm ( 8.5 x 12 inches).
