by Jones, Inigo
Superb Inigo Jones architecture. Royal Whitehall Palace design.

Fine Heritage Editions reproduction from a hand-coloured copperplate engraving by Henrik Hulsbergh after the drawing by Henry Flitcroft of the architectural design of Inigo Jones (1573-1652), originally published in London circa 1715-1767 by Colen Campbell. Known as "the father of classical English architecture", Inigo Jones believed that strict mathematical proportion should control plan, elevation, and every other detail of construction.
