Heritage Editions Lily print from 18thC Curtis botanical.

Reprdocution print, enlarged and printed from a hand-coloured copperplate engraving for The Botanical Magazine; or Flower Garden Displayed, begun by William Curtis in 1787 to illustrate plants sent from around the world to Kew Gardens, that were then cultivated in England.

One of a series of 12 Heritage Editions Curtis botanical reproductions. In the 18th century the original image was hand-coloured with natural ochres which do not fade with the passing of time. As with all artwork, we recommend framing with ultraviolet-protection glass to prevent fading of modern printing inks.
