Delicate orchid print, reproduced from lithograph drawn on stone by Maxime Gauci after the painting by Mrs Augusta Innes Withers, Miss Sarah Ann Drake, or Petrus Schouten, for The Orchidaceae of Mexico & Guatemala by James Bateman (1811-97).

Originally printed by P. Gauci and published in London by J. Ridgway & Sons circa 1837-41, these were some of the finest orchid illustrations ever produced.
