Reproduction printed from a series of 12 watercolours by contemporary American artist Constance Lael Linyard. Constance Lael began her career as an art teacher in public schools after graduating cum laude, with a degree in fine art from Queens
College in Charlotte NC. Showing entrepreneurial flair she started her own wholesale business, selling her designs directly to stores and chains nationwide for 15 years.
In 1996 Constance Lael signed an exclusive contract with Bentley House Fine Art in Walnut Creek, California, who licensed, published and marketed her prints worldwide while she worked for them full-time. Since 2000, Constance has created
 botanical art and design for home accessories. She opened retail shops in the Black Lion Design Centre in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she worked directly with designers;  and from 2008, worked with the family-owned business, Uttermost.
Constance Lael maintains her studio in De Florum in Statesville, North Carolina.
