Reproduction print from a Giovanni-Battiste Ferrari hand-coloured etching of a botanical cross-section and seed-pod, "diatus et integer dimi seminis folliculus" from De Florum Cultura byJohann Friedrich Greuter (Strasbourg c1590 - Rome 1662).

Original size of publication was 200 x 140mm. Size of this print is 300 x 210mm (11.3/4 x 8.1/4 inches) to border. Page size is 360 x 255mm (14.1/9 x 10 inches). The paper is light-weight and slightly creased at edges. Otherwise it is in fine condition, reproducing blemishes as were on the early etching.
