Printed on thick paper, this fine print was reproduced from a small hand-coloured copperplate engraving by LeFevre, for a series illustrating French Coats of Arms, originally published in Paris circa 1780.

Surface damage at top extremity. Print size 315 x 250mm (12.5 x 9.75 inches), with original plate size measuring 210 x 175mm (8 x 7 inches).
