Susan Lambert is Curator of Prints at the Department of Designs, Prints and Drawings at the Victoria and Albert Museum. After a comment on the comparisons of original and reproduction prints, this scholarly work covers a period of printed artwork from the Renaissance to the "Age of Mechanical Reproduction".

An excellent book that is very well set out. As well as covering the prints of the works of famous artists, it also has well described illustrations of comparative prints of the same subject to show the difference in style and quality of artwork.
