With a discussion of some aspects of classical technique by Russian Nadia Nerina, as Prima Ballerina of the Royal Ballet; sections on Soviet, Spanish and Indian dancing, this was an interesting year in ballet. Beautiful photographs of Fonteyn as Ondine, and dancing Sleeping Beauty. Photos throughout - many full page.
