Original woodcut from a sketch for the Punch Library of Humour published in London c1910 with later hand-tinting. Mr Punch's Golf Stories 'Told by His Merry Men' were intended as after-dinner stories. 

In good condition, this small page measures 18.5 x 13cm (7 3/8 x 5 inches). It is mounted between 'antique-whte' (cream) conservation ragmat, and covered with cellophane for protection and presentation, ready for framing. The image window measures 130 x 95mm (5 1/8 x 3 3/4 inches). The external mount for frame is 250 x 215mm (9 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches).
