Small hand-coloured WRESTLING engraving c1890 for Badminton Library of Sports and Pastimes (for British Aristocracy),  published by Longmans, Green & Co. London (with later hand-colour).

"Badminton" was named for the Badminton Estate of the Duke of Beaufort in Gloucestershire, the site of many field sports during the 19th century.

There is a slight variation of paper tone vertically towards the left side of the page but it is not very obviouis.
This small engraving has been mounted between 'antique white' conservation mattboard, and covered with cellophane for protection.. i.e. half-way framed. The engraved page measures 190 x 135mm (7 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches). To border line areound this engraving measures 105 x 98mm (4 1/8 x 3 7/8 inches). External mount for framing is 250 x 230mm (9 7/8 x 9 inches).
