A Poser.- "Farmers always grumbling? Well, supposin' your pigs were down wi' th' fever, an' your sheep had got th' influenza, if your crops were dronsded in eightee inches o' water, an' your rent were overdue - what would you do?"
"I? I'd give it up and start a golf club!"

Original woodcut from a sketch for the Punch Library of Humour published in London c1910 with later hand-tinting. Mr Punch's Golf Stories 'Told by His Merry Men' were intended as after-dinner stories. 

In good condition, this small page measures 18.5 x 13cm (7 3/8 x 5 inches). It is mounted between antique-whte conservation ragmat, and covered with cellophane for protection and presentation, ready for framing. The image window measures 135 x 95mm (5 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches). The external mount for frame is 255 x 215mm (10 x 8 1/2 inches).
