Framed antique prints of young boy and girl.

This is great value for a pair of small antique prints in fine frames - 'The Dawn of Golf' with grandfather watching a little girl and a grandmother watching a little boy as they swing a golf club to hit a golf ball.

Original photogravures from The Badminton Library of Sports and Pastimes (for British Aristocracy) published in London c.1890 (with later hand-colour). 

Badminton was the great venue of British sports, the Duke of Beaufort's Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire.

In good condition, each small page measures 18.5 x 13cm (7 3/8 x 5 inches). The external measurement of each frame is 24cm x 19cm (9.5 x 7.5 inches). (Available separately for $95 each.)
