Original copperplate engraved legal portrait of an important English judge in court gown. This is a fine portrait engraving (with later hand-colour) - grandly embellished by decorative borders and vignette with coat of arms below, "Engraved from an Original Picture, by J. Collyer". Published in London by T. Cadell circa 1793 for William Blackstone’s “Commentaries of the Laws of England, the improvement of which have distinguished the reign of Her Majesty’s Most Royal Consort”.
