Antique Print of Lieutenant James Thomas Brudenell, 7th Earl of Cardigan, KCB (1797-1868). Commander of the Light Brigade during the Crimean War, Brudenell led the cavalry charge of the Light Brigade in the Battle of Balaklava

An original finely embellished steel engraving published October 25th 1856 by the famous Tallis publishing house for a series on famous English battles. At the time this portrait engraving was published, Tallis publishing house was the London Printing & Publishing Company.

These great battle scenes fought by the English are very collectable. The fine hand-colour has been added at a later date as this publication was issued in black & white.
