Fine later hand-colour enhances the elegance of this lovely stipple steel-engraved portrait by William Joseph Edwards (fl.1843-1867) after Miss Fanny Corbaux (1812-1883), for the series of beautiful ladies published by Charles Heath (1785-1848).
