Original lithograph. Portrait of Maharajah Duleep Singh, the last Maharajah of the Sikh Empire. He was exiled to Britain at age 15 and was befriended and much admired by Queen Victoria.

Superb colour-printed lithograph on coated paper, from a series of Portraits of Eminent Victorians printed and published in London between 1874 and 1878 by Maclure and Macdonald from Stereoscopic and Photographic Company chromolithographs.

There is slight damage to the surface at the lower right edge of this rare antique print but it will not show when framed.

Page size is 27 x 25cm (10 5/8 x 8 5/8 inches.)
