The Duke of Wellington flagship of Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Napier, Weighing Anchor. Sir Charles Napier (1786-1860) was in command of the British fleet in the Russian War in the Baltic, which is now known as the Crimean War. His successful attack on the Gulf of Finland prevented deployment of troops to reinforce the Russian fleet attack in the Black Sea.
