Superb, finely-detailed rare 18th century engraving of Moths.
Antique print of Lepidoptera MOTHS Plate 4. Figures 16 - 22.

Original copperplate engraving with strong contemporary hand-colour. As with deep colour of this age on this type of porous paper, there is slight oxidation to the reverse side of the thick hand-made paper.

Although there is slight foxing to this plate, it is in fine condition.
