Beautiful original coast engraving, from an illustration drawn on the spot by William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854), for "The Ports, Harbours, Watering-Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain" by William Finden (1787-1852) and Edward Finden (1791-1857). London: Published for the Proprietors by George Virtue circa 1842. Bartlett was one of the foremost illustrators of topography of his generation. This lovely antique print has later fine hand-colour.

This engraving has full margins of over 4cm or 1.5 inches all round. Image size approx. 120 x 185mm (5 x 7.25 inches). Page size is approximately 210 x 275mm (8 x 10.5 inches).
