Finden antique print c1836. Entrance to Shields Harbour at the mouth of the River Tyne, near Newcastle in England. 

Original topographical engraving by William Finden from a drawing by George Balmer for Finden’s "The Ports, Harbours, Watering-Places, Fishing Villages, and other Picturesque Objects on the English Coast", published in London by Charles Tilt, circa 1836-1838. This lovely engraving has fine later hand-colour.
