This engraving is from one of the 78 engraved plates, after Webber's drawings of indigenous people, artifacts and views, for John Hawkesworth’s Complete History of Captain Cook's First, Second and Third Voyages, approved by the British Admiralty and published in London circa 1780 by Alexander Hogg.
Page is 230 x 380mm (9 x 15 inches). There is slight damage to the extremities of the page, with small remnants of early cellotape repairs and reinforcement. (Price reduced accordingly) Otherwise this wonderful engraving is in good condition.
