Antique print of Gisborne, New Zealand circa 1888. 

Original wood engraving (with later fine hand-colour), for Picturesque Atlas of Australasia which was published to commemorate one hundred years since First Fleet settlement at Port Jackson (Sydney), and the discovery, settlement and development in Australasia since then.

This engraving is mounted between 'antique white' conservation ragmat  boards, ready for framing, and cellophaned for protection. The print is in good condition. Distortion of this image is caused by the scanner.

Engraving size is 14 x 20 cm (5.3 x 8 inches). External mount size is 27 x 33 cm (10.3 x 13.5 inches).
