Peaceful boating on Avon River, Christchurch, New Zealand antique print c1888.

Original wood engraving circa 1888 (with later fine hand-colour), for Picturesque Atlas of Australasia which was published to commemorate one hundred years of settlement and development in Australia and the surrounding regions.

This engraving is already mounted between 'antique white' conservation ragmat boards ready for framing, and cellophaned for protection. The print is in good condition. Any distortion in this image is caused by the scanner.

Size of image is 10 x 7.5 inches or 26 x 19cm. Mounted size is 15 x 12.5 inches or 39 x 32cm.
