Taiera Plain and Harvesting in New Zealand c1888.

Original wood engraving circa 1888 (with later fine hand-colour), for Picturesque Atlas of Australasia which was published to commemorate one hundred years since First Fleet settlement at Port Jackson, New South Wales in 1788. Some of the finest illustrations of the period show the discovery, settlement and development of Australia and adjacent Pacific Islands.

This engraving is already mounted between 'antique white' conservation rag matt board ready for framing, and cellophaned for protection. The print is in good condition. Any distortion in this image is caused by the scanner.

Size of image is 10.5 x 6.5 inches or 27 x 16cm. Mounted size is 15.5 x 11.5 inches or 39 x 29cm.
