Antique print of Natives of New Caledonia. A man with spear, a woman near an enclosure, and a family group at the rear in front of their hut and a coconut tree.
A wonderful original wood engraving published in London circa 1886.
The edges of the page are slightly age-discoloured, and their is the remnants of three small pieces of old cellotape, but it is still a fine image. Page size is 290 x 205mm (approximately 11.5 x 8 inches).
