Antique print of Ibrahim Rauza Mausoleum on the outskirts of Bijapur - with Arabs, servants and camels relaxing in the foreground. Ibrahim Padshah, (1556-1627) was king of the Sultanate of Bijapur.

Original fine steel engraving c1834 by T. Higham from the drawing by Thomas Allom, after the original sketch by Captain Robert Elliot, R.N. for his Views of India, China, and the Shores of the Red Sea, published in London circa 1845 by Peter Jackson.

Size: 225 x 285mm (8 7/8 x 11 1/4 inches) Faint crease of paper at top right corner of engraving, and slight damage along top edge of page - reinforced with archival tape.
