Caves of Ellora, Temple of Kylas antique print. "The finest and most perfect of the excavated temples of Ellora", north-west of Aurangabad in the state of Maharashtra, built by the Rashtrakuta dynasty (Brahmanical and Buddhist group of caves), and Yadav (Jain group of caves).

Original fine steel engraving by E. Challis from a drawing by Samuel Prout (1783-1852) after a sketch by Capt. R. Elliot, R.N. for Elliots Views of India, China, and the Shores of the Red Sea, was published in London circa 1845 by Peter Jackson'.
