Early original copperplate engraving by Heath after the drawing by Metz, 'Published as Act directs by Harrison & Co. May. 1, 1783.' This and the "Bridge of Chains" antique print (below) make a wonderful pair of Chinese engineering marvels.

Page size: 205 x 265mm (8 x 10.75 inches). Platemark: 160 x 205mm (6 1/4 x 8 inches). Slight soiling of page edges as is to be expected when paper is a few hundred years old.
