Original wood engraving by Carl (Charles) Schwarzburger after a sketch by Frank P. Mahony for Picturesque Atlas of Australasia, published between 1886 and 1888 to commemorate one hundred years since the First Fleet settlement at Port Jackson in 1788.

This engraving was printed within a page of text. It has been mounted with 'antique white' conservation ragmat board, with fine gold line around window; and covered with cellophane for presentation and protection. Window size is 135 x 190mm (5 3/8 x 7 1/2 inches). The external size of mount for framing is 270 x 330mm (10 5/8 x 13 inches).
