Original wood engravings with interesting descriptive text, published January 24, 1852 for "The Illustrated London News", which circulated important news from around the world, with popular graphics which were often kept and coloured for ongoing enjoyment. This engraving has fine later hand-colour, which highlights the subjects and certainly adds to the decorative appeal.
