Large, decorative antique print. Original hand-coloured lithograph circa 1841 by English watercolour painter and lithographer specialising in historical buildings, Joseph Nash (1809 – 1878) for his major work, the four volume "Mansions of England in the Olden Times" published from in London between 1839 and 1849.

Original lithograph printed in colour and finished by hand, after architectural draughtsman Joseph Nash (born Buckinghamshire 1809-died Kensington 1878). for “The Mansions of England in the Olden Times” published in London 1839-1849 by Thoomas McLean (British, 1788-1875, and printed by Charles Joseph Hullmandel (London, 1789-1850). Joseph Nash studied with the artist and architect, Augustus Charles Pugin.

This large image only just fitted on the scanner. The lithograph is in fine condition, printed on thick soft paper, with adequate margins all round as published.
