Original lithographs printed in colour by Friedrich Hottenroth (1840-1917) for Costumes, House, Field and Military Equipment printed by M. Seeger, and published in Stuttgart between 1883 and 1886 by G. Weise. F. Hottenroth was an artist and historian. This is a wonderful lithographic record of French Fashion in the Middle Ages.

Slight soiling along page edges. Page size is 280 x 215mm (11 x 8 1/2 inches). To border of image measures 24 x 27cm (9 3/8 x 6 5/8 inches).
