Original lithograph after Friedrich Hottenroth (1840-1917) for Costumes, House, Field and Military Equipment printed by M. Seeger, and published in Stuttgart between 1883 and 1886 by G. Weise. F. Hottenroth was a historian, author and artist who has provided future generations with a wonderfully detailed, colourful lithographic record of European Dress and Customs through the centuries.

This is a rarely-seen work. Slight soiling along page edges. Page size is 280 x 215mm (11 x 8 1/2 inches). To border of image measures 24 x 27cm (9 3/8 x 6 5/8 inches).
