1920s fashion text. (Ladies knitting) Original antique printed double-page, with simple pochoir illustrations within text, across the pages.

Gazette du Bon Ton was an exclusive periodical printed on thick quality paper, with high class advertisements, prose, social events, activities and desirable locations - elegantly printed, and embellished throughout with stylized hand-painted pochoirs.

The main purpose was to circulate charming exquisitely created pochoir illustrations of the latest haute couture (high fashion), and to discuss subjects that might appeal to the wealthy upper class.

This double page measures 390 x 245mm (15 3/8 x 9 7/8 inches).
There is no damage to the page - other than very faint age discolouration down the rear of the central vertical fold (pictured).
